Sorry for this long overdue post. Last May 16 I was one of the lucky few who got invited to witness the Grand launch of the newly opened mall in the Fort which SM Aura Premier. Apart from that, the event was also held to launch SM Store’s (formerly SM Department Store) new endorser wewhich is no other than Carrie Bradshow herself, Sarah Jessica Parker.

What to expect: Havaianas 2013 Collection!

Last December I was invited to Havaianas’ headquarters for a private viewing of their latest collection for 2013. Havaianas will always be my favorite flipflop! I remember way back in elementary I learned to save money just because I want a pair of plain white havs so I can’t be left out with my friends. Over the years, havs remained as the ultimate footwear for people of all ages. For me, this is the only slippers that you can wear without looking “cheap”.

Sueňo de Espadrilles Dance of Hope

Merry Christmas everyone! I’m still in a holiday mood and feeling super lazy to move, but still I’m trying my very best to squeeze in some blog related jobs because I know come January there will be a lot of unexpected things that will happen and I don’t wanna welcome 2013 with gazillions of backlogs so everyday I try my best to draft some post to lessen my burden.

A percentage of ticket sales (including the espadrilles) go towards QCPADFI.

Ace Hotel & Suites Grand Launch

Last 12, 12, 12 I attended the launch of a four-start hotel opened in the heart of the Metro, no other than Ace Hotel and Suites, located in Brixton St. Pasig City. Ace is known for their relaxing water inspired spas, and now there are moving to the next level in creating place where you can stay after a day of relaxation.

Guests were entertained by a song number while indulging their selves in a sumptuous buffet. Also took advantages of taking photos of the foods so you’ll have an idea what their restos/bars can offer. The food was good especially the pastas and sandwiches.

The event proper was held in the pool area. Hosted by Raymond and Patty.

Cool! Also, one of the event’s highlight was the fashion show by Francis Libiran showcasing his resort Wear Collection! Here are of his designs that I’m eye-ing.

Petrol PH: Greased Tonight Party at 7th High

This was probably my last party/event with blogger friends for 2012. Since it’s “Holiday Season” already, I know all of us have different plans and most of us will be spending more time with our loved ones. Thanks to Petrol for throwing an awesome party before the year ends!!!

Fame by Lady Gaga now in the PH!!!!

The first ever black fluid perfume by Lady Gaga is now in the Philippines! How cool is that, I’m so lucky to be one of the people who tried this one of a kind fragrance. Before I discuss about it, here are some of the photos from the launch happened last month in SM Makati.

SM Accessories’ Supreme Four and Holiday Collection launch!

Last November 15, 2012 at Republic Club, Resorts World, marked another event in the history! The revelation of SM accessories newest faces and the launch of their newest collection. I admit, I’m a big  fan of SM Accessories since high school, this is the only accessory haven where affordable ad fashionable stuff meet. This year I noticed that they really evolved in a way that they created more fab and sophisticated pieces but the price range stayed the same.

Imperial Ice Bar Media Launch

Last November 20, me and my blogger friends attended the launch of the first ever Russian inspired Ice bar in the Philippines. Imperial Ice Bar is located at Fort Strip in Bonifacio High Street. Scroll down to see what to expect when you visit the bar.

There are two areas in the place, dry area where the DJ booth and the seats are located and the cold area where the (-5) degrees ice bar is located. The moment we entered we were welcomed by the marketing staff and she introduced to us and toured us inside the ice bar.

How do I look? Ready to go inside! How I wish we can wear this kind of outfit around Philippines! I always dreamed of living in a very cold country, Good this Ice bar is here, at least i can experience an Iceland like place even for only 20 mins.

They offer drinks inside. Looks yummy but we didn’t taste it, took advantage of the allotted time in taking lots of pictures instead of drinking! :)))))

Swensen’s Ultimate Ricecream Sundaes

After our super yummy dinner at Yabu, “Free day” (as we call) isn’t over, went straight to Swensen’s for the tasting of their newest offerings.

An ice cream parlor originated in San Francisco, California, introduces “The Ultimate Ricecream Sundaes”, five new delectable sundaes perfect for the Holidays. It’s main ingredients includes the all-time Filipino favourites namely, ripe mango and sticky rice.!

I ordered Mango Breeze Boat. Irresistible! At first I thought I can’t finish this because of the three cups of Japanese rice I ate at Yabu, but the moment I tasted it, I can’t stop eating! I never thought that mango ice cream can be this good. I’m not a fan of mangoes but with this, I’m so in love! The sweetness of the ice cream is just right and compliments well with the rice,  plus the cream and nuts on top that gives crunchiness. The mochi on the side is also good!

Babe got Mango Sensation! Actually, The taste of all the ricecreams was just the same, the only difference is the presentation! Babe got this because the rice in this set is lesser and it is inside a cute small cone. This is like a a halo-halo, he was given a small cup of milk to add sweetness. 

Here are the other choices for Ricecream!

Mango Breeze Boat ice cream which comes with two scoops mango ice cream with pandan sticky rice and mango cubes. Mango Breeze Float is topped with whipped cream, chopped almonds and caramel syrup, and served with mochi balls.

For those who cannot get enough of mango ice cream,  the  Mango Hurricane is for you. This wonderful product comes in five big scoops of mango ice cream with pandan sticky rice and mango cubes, topped with whipped cream, chopped almonds, and mango sauce. Mango Hurricane is served with coconut milk and mochi balls. 

Another new offering is the Mango On-The-Go, mango ice cream in a cone with pandan sticky rice, whipped cream, chopped almonds, mango sauce, caramel syrup and mango cube.

Next is the Sticky Rice with Mango, mango ice cream with pandan sticky rice and mango cubes and topped with whipped cream, chopped almonds and mango sauce.  

 And lastly, Mango Sensation, mango ice cream with pandan sticky rice and mango cubes topped with whipped cream, chopped almonds and mango sauce. Mango Sensation is served with coconut milk.
