Brief History of Pinkbox:
Nelly See was a housewife who just wanted lovely, age-appropriate, and affordable accessories for her daughters. Back in 2002, that was quite a challenge! Either the accessories were branded and too expensive, cheap but unreliable, or simply not cute enough for little girls. The solution? Pinkbox!
Pinkbox started out with hair accessories like cutesie patootsie hair bands, elastics, pins, and clips for kids. They were an instant hit from the small kiosk in Robinson’s Galleria, where it all began. Soon enough, Pinkbox expanded to 27 company owned outlets and numerous franchisees all over the country, becoming one of the top accessory brands within only a few years.
The well-known “cutesie patootsie” hair accessories for kids, isn’t just for kids anymore, that’s what Pinkbox proved to us after launching their two new hair products fit for women of all ages.
The restaurant turned into a pink haven, beauty bloggers and few people from the media gathered in an afternoon full of hair talk.
The event was hosted by L.A. Ferriols from Mega Magazine.
The brief introduction by Ms. Nelly was followed by a demo using Pinkbox’s newest hair enhancers. First was the Hair Donut. Verniece Enciso, Pinkbox’s ambassador was the model. Such a sweetie! She’s really the perfect epitome of Pinkbox, fashionable, classy and pretty!
The Pinkbox Hair Donut is an ingenious soft foam tool that can help you create an elaborate updo, Korean style! It doesn’t feel heavy or hot on top of your head which makes it super comfy compared to its DIY alternatives. Simply tie your hair in a pony tail then loop it all over the donut. Secure with bobbi pins and you’re good to go.

Perfect! She looks like a Korean!
then followed by the demo for Hair Puffs which was modeled by Martha.
The Pinkbox Hair Puff is an ultralight velcro insert that can be placed underneath your hair to instantly volumize it. You can create a bouffant with zero teasing - all you need are your hands, a comb, and a couple of bobby pins! You can also create a beehive with the Hair Puff if you wish.

Lovely! I seriously love this one! Bonggang look as easy as 1, 2, 3 :) LOTD soon! Will definitely try these one especially for events. Instant Amy Winehouse look!!!
After the demos, they gave us a basket full of hair products, I thought the event was done na and the baskets were our lootbags, but na-ah!!! There’s a mini challenge pala for us to try ourselves the donut bun and the hair puff, and guess what, the prize was the Pinkbox Dream Mirror! Waahh!! Every girl’s dream!!!
Okay, so after Chrisna tried the bun to my hair, medyo fail so I tried it to her and Tadahhh!!! Vintage look in 5 min!!
Surprisingly, my messy vintage bun made it to the top 3!!! But sadly, the pink girl on the left side won the accessory cabinet :(, We won 500 PB GCs though. Yayyy!!!
With the gorgeous owner Ms. Nelly
Picture taking in the pretty set-up while holding my Pinbox. Literally we were given a Pinkbox full of cutie hair stuff.
Congratulations Pinkbox! After the event I felt like I attended a pink themed debut party! :)))
