My Blowout Bar Experience!!

Finally after a month, I got to claim my free treatment at Blowout Bar courtesy of When in Manila. Honestly, I had a hard time looking for the place but thank God! V accompanied me and I found it! Yaaii!!! Thanks Babe for always being my walking map! =))

Forever Flawless launched new social media channels

Last April 2012, Flawless launched an online magazine on issuu.com to replace the brand’s monthly newsletter. Aptly named “Flaunt,” the digital publication
is intended to be Flawless’ signature online editorial habitat.

Flaunt is an extension of Flawless, with Flaunt, beauty became accessible to everyone. From beauty tips courtesy of Flawless’ acclaimed roster of Skin Professionals to stories of human interest, the publication aims to improve the quality of life people have by giving them the tools they need to achieve the most beautiful expression of themselves.

Unlike their newsletter before, only people subscribed to that we’re the one who can access it, but most of the time, subscribers tend to ignore or delete it after seeing in the mail. Newsletters, lacks impact, unlike with a digital magazine they can have a wide array or readers, it’s more fun to read, appetizing in the eyes because of the bigger pictures and the fact that it is more accessible since you can read it anytime of the day.

In its efforts to better connect with its target market, Flawless recently revamped the way they interacts with the rest of the online community.

Adding more value to its revamped look, the new website serves as a goldmine of information for beauty and wellness aficionados. BDJ Beauty Box Launch

Two weeks ago, (sorry for the delayed post) I was invited by Viviamo Inc., makers of the famous “Belle de Jour” planners in an intimate afternoon event at SLICE BHS, for the launch of their very own “Belle de Jour Beauty Box” 

Yea, we all know that there are a lot of beauty box subscription coming out in the market nowdays, but BDJ Box differs in a way that it is a box that will surely unbox every Filipina’s beauty. It has an interactive site, updated daily that will help you choose what products/package best suits your skin, lifestyle and most especially your budget through answering a quiz. How cool is that? Will tell you more of that later, I’ll share to you first what happened in the event.

Since we are the first batch, which is scheduled at 11am, the set-up is not yet ready so the snacks were served first. Can’t help but to unleash a little bit of foodie blogger in me, everybody loved this choco yema cupacake! Slices’s cuppies were simply the best!

The event was hosted by Kat Dy, who is also part of the BDJ team, she talked about the bdj box, the subscription process and introduced the beauty ministers, Tara, Nicole and Erica.

here are the other beauty ministers that will provide fresh editorial posts, give expert advice on the best beauty products,and create easy-to-follow how-to videos for the products they feature in their site daily.

So lucky to be one of the very first ladies who received this beauty box!! Can’t wait to try and review the items!

Brief History of Pinkbox:

Okay, so after Chrisna tried the bun to my hair, medyo fail so I tried it to her and Tadahhh!!! Vintage look in 5 min!!

Surprisingly, my messy vintage bun made it to the top 3!!! But sadly, the pink girl on the left side won the accessory cabinet :(, We won 500 PB GCs though. Yayyy!!!

OMBRE DAY AT AZTA URBAN SALON KATIPUNAN

Last month, I conducted a blog giveaway which is a free digiperm treatment for two at Azta Urban Salon Katipunan. Since I’ve been dying to have an ombre color for months now, I joined the two winners in claiming their services at Azta. Good thing we are all free that day! Yayy! bonding time with my readers.

First thing they did was to let they stylist check my hair and to help me choose what’s the best shade for me. Here are the pegs, can you spot the bloggers? :)

The stylist adviced me, that I should pick cool colors, I decided to have a two-toned ombre and to try the copper reddish orange shade since I haven’t tried it and I’m so sick of the brownish shade, I wanted sana the purplish shade, but she said that will not match my skin tone.

After that they bleached the end parts of my hair to complete the ombre look. Forgot to take pictures tho.

On the other side, my friend Nikka also had her one tone ombre, Can’t wait to see the red streaks on her hair!

Tadaahhh!!!! How do I look? Yay or Nay? I’m so happy with the outcome, even I encountered problems beforehand, because I dyed my hair black 3 months ago, they said that I can’t achieved my desired look, but thank God! I took risk and there, Lovely outcome!

Nikka and Me! Love her curls! How I wish our hair will be this pretty forever! Should buy a nice hair dryer now so I can achieve these loose and soft waves.

Liole BB Cream and Dollish Lipstick in Madonna Red Review

This is my first time to do a make-up review, so please bear with me :) I may not know the correct term or I might notice different things compared to other make-up enthusiasts but I’ll try my best to do this well.


For the texture, It’s thick and creamy, as for the pigmentation, I think it is pigmented enough for my skin since I don’t have such major blemishes aside from my eye bags and some blackheads in the nose area. I think, the cream lessened  the darkness and it made my skin shinier and looks fresher. For the longevity, It stayed on my  about 4-5 hours. 

Overall rating = 8/10. Will I buy again? Definitely yes!
